Frequently Asked Questions
- Are my files sent to any server?
- No. All processing in OFFiler happens entirely inside your browser. Your file data is never sent to any external server.
- Can I use it without an internet connection?
- Yes. After installing OFFiler as a PWA (Progressive Web App), you can use it offline. Pages are cached on first visit.
- Where are the processed files saved?
- Processed files are saved to your local Downloads folder directly from the browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Is it free to use?
- Yes, all features are completely free. No account registration is required.
- Can I use it on a smartphone?
- Some features (such as video processing) are recommended on desktop Chrome/Edge. PDF, image, and text tools work on mobile browsers as well.
- Are there unsupported file formats?
- Each tool shows accepted file formats in the drop zone. Supported formats vary by tool.

File Size Limits
All processing occurs in browser memory. Files exceeding the limits cannot be processed.

Privacy Policy
File Data Handling
All uploaded files are processed exclusively in browser memory (or IndexedDB). File contents, metadata, and filenames are never sent to any external server.
Cookies & localStorage
We use localStorage to save your language preference, theme setting, and favorite tools. No tracking cookies are used.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site usage. Only aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers, and browser types are collected. No personally identifiable information is gathered. IP addresses are anonymized by Cloudflare during processing.
Advertising
We may display advertisements via Google AdSense to sustain the service. Ad providers may use cookies.

Data Loss & File Corruption
The operator assumes no liability for file corruption, data loss, or processing failures that occur during in-browser processing. Always back up important files before use.
Service Changes & Termination
The operator may modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time without prior notice. The operator is not liable for any damages resulting from such changes.
