- Does the redaction also remove the underlying text data?
- Redaction alone leaves the underlying text data in the file. To remove it entirely, chain the tools: after redacting, run PDF to Image then Image to PDF. This rasterizes every page into pure images so no extractable text data remains — you can do this in one go using the chain button.
- Does this comply with corporate security policies?
- All processing stays in your browser with no external communication. Since files are never uploaded to a third-party service, this fits well within most corporate security policies.
- Does it work with Word or Excel files?
- Currently only PDF files are supported. Please convert Word or Excel documents to PDF first.
